A Cook Book A Day

Hi Everyone,

This has been an interesting week with the full moon coming into force this Thursday 21st Feb - There seems to have been a very strong reaction to the moons fully waxed state this week - even to the point where I witnessed police cars zooming up and down our usually quiet street in pursuit of someone who had gone a bit wacky.

I have also had a busy time with lots of personal sessions interspersed with home duties and entertaining friends and family.

A quirky pattern began to emerge on the evening prior to full Moon - Wednesday night. We were in the company of delightful friends who brought along a gift for me - a wonderful cook book. I was delighted, as my friends knew I would be - my collection of cookbooks is second to none and they all get a thorough workout.

The following day my dear daughter went to some Sydney markets and returned home with ... guess what? another new cookbook for me!

I was very happy with this cookbook too and gave not another thought to the Universal principle and my own belief system that states that when something happens twice it will surely happen a third time.

Sure enough, the very next day I was doing my usual weekly volunteer work when a friend rushed off to a cupboard and re-emerged with a gift for me - yep that's right - the THIRD cook book in three days!

Whenever patterns of three become evident in my life I do try and tune into the significance of the pattern and its psycho-spiritual correspondence for me. So far I have realised that this pattern has many levels of meaning.

Firstly we are currently in the process of creating a new kitchen... so I shall have need of these books on the physical level.

Secondly the cookbooks are inspiration for me and an honouring of the way I like to nurture and feed my family and friends.

Thirdly, my feeling is that my thoughts on creating a cook book of my own have always been pushed onto the back burner with all the other things I have going on - but now I realise it is part of the work for me to do in the future and I am inspired to go further along this path.

There are other correspondences that I am still mulling over but wanted to share with you how life tends to give me, and indeed us all , these gifts of patterns all the time and how they may be represented.

Perhaps you too have had incidents of "threes" in your life..
How about sharing them with us on the blog?

Until next time,

Blessings,
Ruthie.
